Sound Patterns for clarinet, cello and piano (14') 1987 Sound Patterns was commissioned by the Lin Ensemble through a grant from the Danish Art Council. The piece consists of a single movement with many dinstinct rhythmic, harmonic and melodic patterns. These patterns are sharply deliniated, like the brightly colored patterns of a Mondrian painting.
