3. quarter project.

Visualize ( in the Panorama ) a shoal of 'creatues' ( fish, birds balloons, ... ). The motion of the individuals within the shoal must appear to be random yet correlated ( e.g. modelled by "Boids" ). It must be possible to drag the shoal using the wand.

Diliveries ( for each group of three persons ):

Web-pages ( 5 - 10 pages ) containing sections on:
Choices made.
Important data- and program structures, including the scene graph.
The full source code, including make-files and a users guide, in a single directory. So that the program can be compiled ( by ./MAKE ... ) and executed ( by ./RUN ... ).
Send an URL for the web-pages to pmn@daimi.au.dk not later than March 26.
A demo in the Panorama on the 29/3 - 30/3, followed by a short discussion of the project. Familiarity with selected sections of "The red book" is expected.

Evaluation: A mark will be given at the end of the demo based on the web-pages, the demo and the discussion. Internal examinator.

Remember to sign up for the examinations between 1. and 15. February. If you plan to follow the 4. quarter also, you must sign up for examination after the the 3. quarter and after the 4. quarter separately.
