I followed an MSc course in Mathematics and graduated
`con lode' writing a thesis entitled
`Modelli Categoriali per la Logica Lineare' under the supervision of Giuseppe Rosolini.
From September 1990 until June 1991 I was Erasmus student at the Department of Mathematics, University of Wales Bangor, United Kingdom.

As part of the requirements for a PhD Degree in Computer Science at Aarhus,
I passed the
``Graduate School Qualifying Exam'' presenting a progress report entitled
`A Categorical Approach to Concurrency: Presheaf Models' written
under the supervision of Glynn
Winskel. As a consequence of this I obtained an MSc degree in
Computer Science.
The external members of the examining committee were Kim Larsen
(Aalborg University) and Alex Simpson (Edinburgh University).
