This is the homepage of my humanoid LEGO robot Seymour (previously called Dr. Watson).

These are some facts about the robot:

• Its eyes can move sideways.
• Its eyelids can move up and down.
• It's two lips can move independently up and down.
• One eye has got a camera inside.
• It will eventually have moving eyebrows.
• It will eventually, probably, be able to rotate in place.
• It is controlled by two RCX'es currently not built into the robot.
• Built over several sessions in April/May/October 2005.
• Building time was about 31 hours.
• I built it, Ole Caprani has written several control programs for it.

• Part of a Science Cafe during the Danish National Research Day on May 12th 2005.
• Exhibited at the annual "Show and Tell"-week of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Aarhus University, September 2005.
• Exhibited at the Steno Museum of Natural Science in Aarhus during the school autumn break, October 2005.
• Exhibited at the Danish National Research Day on May 5th 2006.
• Featured in program on Danish national radio P1, Det optimerede menneske, on June 12th 2008. Listen here (relevant bit starts approximately 5/8 through the program).
• Featured in the 10-year Mindstorms anniversary exhibition at the LEGO headquarter in October 2008.
• On display at Junior Museum for kids in the Danish art museum ARoS in the spring of 2009 in connection with the exhibition Enter Action - Digital Art Now. Here it also had sounds by Rasmus B. Lunding.
