This is the homepage of my humanoid LEGO robot Seymour (previously called Dr. Watson).
Please visit the gallery of images and have a
look at some of the videos in the mpg format.
These are some facts about the robot:
- Its eyes can move sideways.
- Its eyelids can move up and down.
- It's two lips can move independently up and down.
- One eye has got a camera inside.
- It will eventually have moving eyebrows.
- It will eventually, probably, be able to rotate in place.
- It is controlled by two RCX'es currently not built into the robot.
- Built over several sessions in April/May/October 2005.
- Building time was about 31 hours.
- I built it, Ole
Caprani has written several control programs for it.
