PROFESSOR JOHN BIGGS
- The principles of the movie are explained further in "Teaching for Quality Learning at University" (Open University Press/McGraw Hill, 2003). However, Dr. Catherine Tang and Prof. John Biggs have been involved with several projects implementing constructive alignment and this has led them to reformulate where they are going with the concept. This will be appearing in a third edition of the book later in 2007.
- John Biggs has held chairs in Education in Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong and is currently Honorary Professor of Psychology in the University of Hong Kong.
He has published extensively in teaching and learning in higher education, including "Teaching for Quality Learning at University"; he and his partner Catherine Tang are currently preparing a third edition.
