Mandatory Projects

Each student must participate in the series of mandatory projects. Currently two projects are planned. The last project will be graded on the 13-scale and will be the final grade.

Project 1: NISC BAC Contig Assembly

To be handed in on Thursday, May 4th.

In this project we will mine the NISC Comparative Vertebrate Sequencing Project and NCBI for BAC contigs, which we will then assemble into longer sequences.

Exam Project / TBiB 2006: A Multiple Alignment Database

The project report should be handed in on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, to one of the lecturers.
