The largest art collection in Denmark outside Copenhagen can be found at the new art museum of Aarhus – ARoS. The museum owns notable collections of Danish art that span 300 years plus a noteworthy contingent of modern art. The new spacious museum building hosts special exhibitions as well as a permanent collection.
National Open Air Museum of Urban History and Culture. It is a living and breathing experience of what it was like to live and work in a Danish market town, as it was in the old days.
The Cathedral is over 800 years old and is with its impressive tower visible from most of the city. The main attractions in the church is the triptych and the many wall-paintings.
The Moesgård Manor in the woods south of Århus provides the setting for the Moesgård Museum which houses archaeological and ethnographical collections as well as reconstructed houses from the Iron Age and the Viking Age

In The Concert Hall Aarhus events are on almost every day. The repertoire represents a wide palette: Ballet, pop, musicals, opera, rock, the complete classical repertoire, theatre – and a long range of art exhibitons, business conventions etc.
The Danish museum for the history of science and medicine. The Steno Museum holds exhibitions on the history of science and the history of medicine. It also operates a planetarium and a medical herb garden.
