The Object-Oriented Software Systems Group is based on the Scandinavian tradition for object-oriented programming, starting with Simula and BETA in the early 1970’ies. Today the group covers a wide range of research areas within software systems including:
The group is involved in a number of centers and large research projects, including Centre for Pervasive Computing, ISIS Katrinebjerg and Palcom. Previous projects include: The Mjølner Project, EuroCoOp, EuroCODE and Centre for Object-Technology.
Projects are often in close cooperation with industrial partnes.
The group is located in the IT-city Katrinebjerg in Hopper building together with the Alexandra Institute A/S.
