Daimi Friday Lecture Series

In the new Daimi Friday Lecture Series Ole Lehrmann Madsen, from Alexandra Institutet, will give a talk entitled "Forskningssamarbejde med erhvervslivet". The talk will be in Danish.

Time/place: Friday 2, 2007 at 14:15 - 15:00 in The Large Auditorium in IT-Huset. There will be coffee and cake from 14:00.

The Danish Independent Research Councils’ Young Researcher’s Award

Lars M Kristensen has received the Danish Independent Research Councils’ Young Researcher’s Award in relation to his project entitled “Advanced State Space Methods and Computer Tools for Verification of Computer Protocols”. The Award is given to talented young researchers below the age of 35 who have earned recognition for their work to such an extent that is unusual for their age.

New center for game theory at DAIMI

The Carlsberg Foundation has granted 3.8 million DKK over a period of three years for establishment of a new Center for Algorithmic Game Theory. Peter Bro Miltersen is the director of the center.
