A six-pack inaugural lecture at Daimi

On Friday June 23 six professors from the Department of Computer Science who have been appointed within the last 3-4 years gave a joint inaugural lecture where they presented their fields of work.

Summer School on Game Theory in Computer Science

From June 26 through June 30, the department hosts a summer school spanning computational and algorithmic game theory as well as topics in pure game theory of an algorithmic flavour. Among the speakers is the well-known game theorist Sergiu Hart of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, founder of the Center for Study of Rationality.

Positive evaluation of the Computer Science programme at University of Aarhus

The benchmarking report from the Danish Evaluation Institute praises the computer science programme at University of Aarhus. The educational level is very high. However, the report points out that certain areas need to be improved. The drop-out rate of 62 per cent is too high.

Joint "inaugural lecture"

On Friday June 23 six ”newly appointed” professors from the Department of Computer Science will give a joint inaugural lecture. The lecture takes place in the new lecture theatre at the IT House of Katrinebjerg. Students, employees and partners are welcome.
