Advice

If you during your time as a student run into problems - either concerning your study or of a more private nature, or if you just need advice in some matter, here are a number of sources for help.

  • Student Counsellors are a number of older students who are employed by the University to give advice and counseling on academic matters such as program planning and course selection. They can also help with more personal problems that can arise during the course of a study.
  • Studenterrådgivningen is an institution empoying psychologists and social advisers who can offer personal and group counseling for students with problems such as relationship issues, loneliness and anxiety due to exams.
  • The Student Priest is employed by folkekirken to function as a priest to the students of Århus. Apart from religious topics the student priest is also available for conversation on personal matters.
  • Studenterrådets Retshjælp (Legal aid for students) is a group of law students who offer free legal advice to students at the University.
