The name Web Support, has many connotations. This page clarifies what that name entails in the Daimi context.
Web Support take care of maintaining the infrastructure behind the official Daimi webpages. This infrastructure consist of some 'machinery', structuring the official webpages in an appropriate way, as well as layout & design. Presently, we are implementing the rules for websites at Aarhus University as laid out in Netstedspolitik for Aarhus Universitet. We do not fully comply and it is still an open question whether it is possible; but we are at the forefront and report back when we find points that need to be clarified in the rules.
Now a days, a website is the hub for companies and institutions. Structuring alone does not make an engaging website; thus we collect and present relevant news and information on a bi-weekly basis.
