What is the Design/CPN WWW Pages?
The purpose of the Design/CPN WWW pages is to provide information about the
Design/CPN tool. The tool and the WWW pages are maintained by the CPN group
at University of Aarhus, Denmark.
Please feel free to browse around. If you find errors or have suggestions
for improvements, please send us an e-mail.
The Design/CPN WWW pages contains many different kinds of information:
- General Information - e.g., a brief description of
Coloured Petri Nets, the Design/CPN tool and its history.
- More Detailed Information - e.g., an overview of the CPN editor,
CPN simulator and Occurrence Graph tool. In this part you can
also see how to become a Design/CPN user.
- Technical Information - e.g. on-line copies of all the
Design/CPN manuals. Here you can also find lists of common problems,
known bugs and proposals for future enhancements.
- Design/CPN E-mail List - which allow you to
communication with other Design/CPN users. The E-mail list is used to
report problems and solutions, ask questions and get help
- Examples and Libraries. All examples are provided in a
format that can be used also by people who do not yet have the
Design/CPN tool. Looking at some of the introductory examples is one
of the best ways to get an idea about Coloured Petri Nets and
Design/CPN.
- Links to Other Petri Net Pages - in particular the
International Petri Net Web which provides a lot of different
information which is highly useful for Petri net researchers.
- How to Get in Contact with. Here you can see how to
contact other Design/CPN user organisations and how to get help if you
have problems.
