How to Publish Your Own Design/CPN Examples
We strongly encourage Design/CPN users to contribute to the Design/CPN
WWW pages by publishing their own CPN models - so that they can be
shared with other users. Only full CPN models which are
operative in the current version of the Design/CPN tool will be
accepted for publication.
Please look at some of our existing examples and try to make your
contribution in a format and style that matches as much as possible. To
publish your CPN model, we need to obtain the following from you in machine
readable form.
- The text to be included in the Abstract.
- A description which can be used for the Explanation document.
This may contain text and figures (e.g. some
pages from your CP-net). Unless already included, we will add a copy
of all pages in your model to the explanation. The explanation can
take many different forms, e.g., a research/journal paper. We accept
the following kind of files:
Adobe Acrobat PDF
(Portable Document Format) or Postscript files. (Actually we accept
file formats which, in a few steps, can be converted to PDF files.
Thus Microsoft Word and LaTeX files are also accepted.)
- The Design/CPN files for your CPN model. We do not need the ML file,
but we need all other files which are needed to syntax check and switch the
model. If the files are for a Mac we will (usually) produce a Unix version
as well (the opposite is unfortunately not possible).
We prefer to get an e-mail with the files mentioned above. If this is not
possible you may send us a 3.5 diskette (for Mac or IBM PC). In both cases
please include detailed information about all your files (e.g., contents,
creation program, version, hardware platform, method of compression).
If you have any problems or questions, please contact
the maintainers of these pages for further information.
