With a bit of playing around, I can occasionally (perhaps 10 minutes of work) get a connector hooked up in Aux mode. I'm not sure what I do; it's mostly just dragging and clicking and dragging and clicking. Normally I just get the short, shaky line, and then occasionally it connects. In the time since the last message, I've gotten 2 connectors placed. I also noticed that, when it's not connecting, I get a shaky line that is perpendicular to the direction of the nearest item to connect to. If a box is to the right of an ellipse, then I get a vertical line; if it's above the ellipse, I get a horizontal shaky line.
