Introduction

The master study is a programme of two years that builds upon a bachelor programme. The last of these two years is called the thesis year (specialeåret).

A completed bachelor programme in Computer Science gives admission to the masters programme. However, you can already apply for admission even though you still lack up to 20 ECTS of your bachelor programme. This means that you will for a while be enrolled both in the bachelor and master study.

Unlike the bachelor programme, the master programme is more flexible regarding the selection of courses. A part from advanced courses in Computer Science you can to some degree also take courses in completely different subjects (e.g. at other departments) .

In order to allow students to plan their upcoming semester all advanced courses are presented at the Open Day arrangement.

When you are admitted to the masters programme you should contact Gudmund Skovbjerg Frandsen (Turing-220) for registration at the Department.
