Postdoctoral positions within algorithmic game theory are available at the Center for Algorithmic Game Theory (www.daimi.au.dk/cagt) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Aarhus, Denmark.
The positions are funded by a grant from the Carlsberg Foundation. The successful candidates should expand and broaden the present competences within the center. We look for candidates with interests within algorithmic game theory in a broad sense of the word, including candidates interested in
- Computational and algorithmic mechanism design
- Computational and algorithmic auction theory
- Game-theoretic aspects of networks and routing
- Rational cryptography
- Equilibrium computation and computational game theory
- Games for verification
- Game-theoretic aspects of multi-agent systems and artificial intelligence
The positions are for six months or one year with possibility of extension, to begin no earlier than March 2009.
To apply, please send a letter of interest with a research statement, your CV, and at least three names of references for recommendations by email to Peter Bro Miltersen (cagt@daimi.au.dk). Applications will be considered until the positions are filled.
